The government is allocating over $17 million through the Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network (OVIN) to assist 30 local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in bringing their latest technologies to international markets. Additionally, private sector industry partners are contributing an extra $40 million, making this announcement a significant victory for local economies throughout the province. By investing in domestic innovation, we are safeguarding the future of our automotive industry and ensuring that the vehicles of tomorrow are produced in Ontario by Ontario workers.
