President of the NSW Court of Appeal, welcomed Year 12 students

In recent weeks, both the Governor and Justice Julie Ward, President of the NSW Court of Appeal, welcomed Year 12 students participating in this year's School Leadership Program during a visit to Armidale.

This parliamentary education initiative allows two school leaders from every NSW school to deepen their understanding of our governance system. In the morning, students engage with MPs at Parliament House, gaining insights into the functioning of our participatory democracy. In the afternoon, they visit Government House to explore the constitutional, ceremonial, and community aspects of the Governor's role. This ongoing program offers a fantastic opportunity for students to ask questions and share experiences and aspirations with other young leaders from NSW over afternoon tea.
