It was essential to join HE Ridwaan Jadwat, the Ambassador to the UAE, along with the Australian Embassy team in Abu Dhabi—similar to our previous engagements in Ankara and Cairo—to express our gratitude to the diplomats, locally engaged staff, defense personnel, AFP officers, and other agencies for their efforts in enhancing the Australia-UAE partnership and supporting Australians overseas.

These exceptional teams have provided invaluable assistance to the Governor-General during her visit, facilitating numerous significant interactions that will foster stronger ties with our international partners. The Governor-General was also profoundly honored to have a boardroom at the embassy in Abu Dhabi named in her honor—a venue where the crucial work of diplomacy and consular support will persist.
