An elderly woman in her 80s has tragically lost her life in a house fire in Tallaght, Dublin, yesterday evening. Emergency services, including the Dublin Fire Brigade and gardaí, responded to the incident at a residence in Mountain Park at 6:50 PM. Although firefighters successfully extinguished the blaze, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her remains have been transferred to the Dublin City Mortuary in Whitehall for a post-mortem examination. Authorities have indicated that a technical investigation of the site will be conducted.
