Yesterday in Laval, Liberal MPs, candidates, and volunteers came together for a special one-hour gathering featuring Prime Minister Mark Carney. 


During the event, he discussed his vision for a resilient Canada, articulated his economic strategies, addressed the challenges posed by U.S. tariffs, and reiterated his commitment to affordable housing nationwide. He emphasized that Canada will not be intimidated by President Trump's approaches and that this government is dedicated to addressing the genuine needs of its citizens. We also heard from Mélanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, and Annie Koutrakis, MP for Vimy. The atmosphere was vibrant and festive, with Mark Carney lightening the mood by sharing a few jokes that had everyone laughing.
