An Army veteran attempted to seize control of an aircraft in Belize

An Army veteran attempted to seize control of an aircraft in Belize but was fatally shot by another passenger.

According to police reports, three individuals sustained injuries during the incident involving Taylor, who allegedly tried to hijack a Tropic Air Cessna Grand Caravan at knifepoint on Thursday.

Sources indicate that there were 14 passengers on board the aircraft. One passenger, armed with a knife, attacked two fellow passengers and the pilot during the hijacking attempt. In response, one of the injured passengers drew a firearm and fatally shot the assailant.
