Residents have reported an increase in nighttime disturbances in Savanna Bazaar, Calgary. Last Sunday evening, law enforcement was summoned to address the issue.

The following is an official statement from a spokesperson for the Calgary Police:
On Sunday, April 13, 2025, at approximately 10:15 p.m., we received reports of loud noise and physical confrontations in the 600 block of Savanna Boulevard N.E. Upon our arrival, officers discovered a group of men allegedly assaulting another individual. As officers approached, the group dispersed; however, one suspect was apprehended. The victim received medical attention from EMS and was transported to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
