Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has revealed the establishment of a $100 million investment agreement with British investors, following his recent investment mission to the United Kingdom.

As stated by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, the Memorandum of Understanding—signed in the presence of Hon. Florence Eshalomi, the UK Prime Minister's Trade Envoy—encompasses vital sectors such as agriculture, water resources, tourism, and free trade zones.

The trip also resulted in a cultural tourism collaboration with the British Museum, aimed at promoting Osun's rich cultural heritage. Furthermore, a partnership framework was created between the Osun State Chamber of Commerce, the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce, and their UK counterparts to enhance investment and economic growth.

Governor Adeleke conducted high-level discussions at the House of Commons, the Nigerian-British Chamber of Commerce, and with a select group of UK investors, effectively countering opposition claims regarding the success of his trip.
