Today marks the anniversary of the tragic event at Bondi Junction, where six lives were lost and twelve individuals were injured.

Our heartfelt thoughts are with the families of Tahir, Yixuan, Darchia, Good, Singleton, and Young, as well as all those affected on that day. To everyone who demonstrated remarkable strength, compassion, and support for one another, we stand with you today in solidarity and empathy.

We take this moment to emphasize the critical significance of mental health and well-being, along with the vital support provided by family and community.

In the presence of the NSW Governor, NSW Premier, the Mayor of Waverley Council, and various representatives from federal, state, and local governments, the Governor-General and Mr. Beckett conveyed their heartfelt love, care, and condolences to the families, the injured, and those who offered assistance, alongside the local community.
