CANADA IMMIGRATION ACT: A former official from the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) has reported a significant rise in the number of undocumented migrants crossing from the United States into Canada, attributing this trend to the immigration enforcement policies implemented by President Donald Trump. A smuggler affiliated with the Sinaloa drug cartel has also indicated that their operations are thriving. This information was revealed during a segment of "60 Minutes Overtime" that aired on Sunday evening.

Kelly Sundberg, who dedicated 15 years to the CBSA and currently conducts research on border security as a professor at Mount Royal University in Calgary, shared his concerns with the CBS program. He noted that Trump's policies have already led to an increase in illegal crossings into Canada and anticipates a forthcoming "tsunami" of migrants.

The "60 Minutes Overtime" segment featured an interview with a smuggler involved in drug and human trafficking for the Sinaloa cartel, who reported a notable uptick in requests to enter Canada from the U.S. He mentioned that the majority of these individuals are Venezuelans. Furthermore, he asserted that the Sinaloa cartel, recognized as one of the most formidable and perilous drug trafficking organizations globally, would continue its operations at the northern border due to its vulnerability.
