Excellent news! Premier Danielle Smith and Education Minister Demetrios Nicolaides have made the following announcements:

- A new elementary and junior high school for the Calgary Catholic School District will be established in Carrington. 
- Livingstone has been allocated funding for a new K-6 elementary school under the Calgary Board of Education. 

We extend our gratitude to Minister Muhammad Yaseen for his efforts in advocating for the essential new schools in our communities. 

Furthermore, due to the advocacy of Rajan Sawhney and Muhammad Yaseen, our neighbors in Sage Hill, Nolan Hill, Kincora, and Sherwood will receive design funding for two elementary schools (grades K-5) and two middle schools (grades 6-9). 

These recent school announcements complement the ongoing construction of a middle school by the Calgary Board of Education in Evanston.
