An unexpected death has sparked an investigation by the homicide unit in the southeastern community of Legacy. Police responded to a report of a man in medical distress at around 2:20 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, in the 200 block of Legacy Boulevard S.E. 
Upon arrival, officers discovered a deceased male at the scene. One person has been taken into custody for questioning. Authorities have assured the public that there is no ongoing threat, indicating that the incident appears to be targeted. Further details will be available following the autopsy, scheduled for Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
