 Traders  in  the  parallel  market  are quoting   an  offer  price   of  over  N1,600/$1 for   Naira  holders  looking to buy   dollars  as the local currency faces   increasing  pressure.
 
    Nairametrics   checks  suggest  that the exchange rate has   recently  weakened  in line with the steady   decline  in  the official market.
 
   Platforms such as Trove, Remitly,   Bamboo  and PiggyVest are selling the dollar above   1,630  Naira  as of Thursday, July 18, 2024.
