The Halton Regional Police Service has apprehended Dhiraj Bhalla

The Halton Regional Police Service has apprehended Dhiraj Bhalla, 35, from Hamilton, and has filed charges following an indecent act that occurred on a GO Train. Authorities suspect that there may be other victims of similar offenses and have included a photograph of the accused in this media release.

On February 7, 2025, a small group of adult women was traveling on the Lakeshore West line from Union Station in Toronto to Burlington. A male suspect boarded the train and took a seat near the women. He then exposed his genitals and directed his gaze at one of the female victims while engaging in the indecent act.

The women moved to a different train car and reported the incident to a customer service representative upon their arrival at Appleby GO Station. The Halton Regional Police Service was subsequently informed and initiated an investigation. The suspect was identified and arrested on February 25th after disembarking from a train at Union Station.
