The illegitimate Trudeau administration is promising its allies at the state broadcaster billions more."I say illegitimate because it has no mandate because it's hiding from a non-confidence vote," Ezra Levant, the CEO of Rebel News, stated. To the dismay of taxpayers, Trudeau's cabinet feels that the CBC should receive further subsidies for repeating Ottawa's left-wing propaganda. "CBC doesn't deserve more money from taxpayers," argues Canadian Taxpayers Federation Federal Director Franco Terrazzano. 
It was made clear in an earlier statement by the group that increasing the broadcaster's scope was "outrageous." Worsened by securing future funding rather than statutory appropriations, to legislation. "They're getting away with it," Terrazzano stated. "Public broadcasters in the G7 countries receive an average of $62 per person annually," Heritage Minister Pascale St-Onge informed reporters Thursday. At the moment, Canada gives the CBC $1.4 billion a year, or $33 per person. "We need to aim closer to the middle ground, which is $62 per year per person," she stated. Thankfully, the minister declared she would not run for reelection, which was another significant Trudeau loyalist to defect. Terrazzano asserts, "CBC does not belong to the Liberals," "It does not belong to the Conservatives, and it does not belong to any other political parties," he said. For comparison's sake, a $2.4 billion handout would pay for 150,000 Canadian households' yearly groceries.
 The purpose of this funding request is to promote government propaganda at our cost and without any accountability; it has nothing to do with journalism.
