In   the primary  15 days of 2025, the EU imported 837,  three hundred  metric   heaps  of Russian LNG - an all-time high -   in spite of  pledges to   reduce  power  ties with Moscow.

The   give up  of   a primary  Ukraine   fueloline  transit deal has shifted Europe's reliance to Russian seaborne LNG, with   international locations  like Slovakia and Hungary   main  the charge.

Analysts blame the   bloodless  winter,   susceptible  wind power, and long-  time period  contracts for   retaining  Russian   fueloline  flowing -   even as  billions   waft  returned  to the Kremlin to fund its   battle  in Ukraine.
