The plans include revoking  the visas of individuals linked to Hamas and deporting  pro-Palestinian students, whom officials like Elise Stefanik  have called "Hamas sympathizers."
A Heritage Foundation document,  The Esther Project, outlines strategies to dismantle these movements within  two years, targeting universities and media  outlets accused of supporting  this type of activism.
The measures  have been criticized, with some legal experts  describing them  as unconstitutional and overly aggressive.
