Airlines are losing millions of dollars annually as a result of the carbon tax. For Canadians travelling home for the holidays, visiting sick family members, or finally taking a well-earned vacation, these expenses result in increased fares. Canada already has some of the highest airfares in the world. Simply put, raising government taxes and levies is unjust and puts Canadians under unnecessary strain at the worst possible moment.annually as a result of the carbon tax.
