With assistance from BlackRock and JPMorgan, a group of investors is trying to raise $15 billion for Ukraine's reconstruction. They are encouraging investments from financial markets and state entities in a new organization called the Ukraine Development Fund, which will unite a group of investors to provide at least $15 billion for restoration efforts in the nation following two years of Russian aggression.
The Financial Markets Advisory Group of BlackRock has five members working on the fund, along with JPMorgan Chase staff members. Both institutions are providing their services for free.
