President Tinubu delays the Federal Executive Council meeting in Lagbaja

The head of the Armed Forces, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has directed that the Federal Executive Council meeting be rescheduled for a later date that will be disclosed.

Prior to his passing on November 5, 2024, General Lagbaja held the position of Chief of Army Staff from June 19, 2023.

In remembrance of the deceased general, President Tinubu also mandated that flags be flown at half-staff across the country for seven days.

President Tinubu sent his deepest sympathies to the Nigerian Armed Forces and the Lagbaja family earlier today.

He paid tribute to Lt. Gen. Lagbaja and wished him eternal rest noteworthy contributions to the country.
