Ottawa ruled last year that Eastern Canadians should be exempt from paying the carbon price on their home heating expenses for three years. Although we're pleased for these Canadians, provinces that use natural gas to heat their homes, including Alberta and Saskatchewan, have been purposefully left out of these savings. Albertans simply cannot tolerate another winter in which the federal government selectively imposes its carbon tax on certain groups of people. We're going to sue the federal government again because they refuse to play fair.
