Witnesses Sought for Come By Chance Dog Park Vandalism Incident

The Clarenville RCMP is currently investigating a disturbing act of vandalism that has occurred at the Come By Chance dog park on Lion's Path in the Town of Come By Chance. We are reaching out to the community to gather any information regarding this incident.

On Tuesday, August 19, 2021, we received a report from a town employee detailing the intentional damage inflicted upon several pieces of dog agility equipment within the park. The items affected are essential to the enjoyment and physical well-being of the pets who frequent the area, and this senseless act of destruction has left many residents upset and concerned.

The Clarenville RCMP takes incidents of mischief and property damage seriously and is working diligently to identify the individual(s) responsible. We are requesting the public's assistance in this matter. If you have any information regarding this incident, or if you witnessed any suspicious activity in or around the dog park, please do not hesitate to come forward.
