A serious road accident occurred on Highway 2, near 206 Avenue East, on Friday evening, resulting in multiple individuals being rushed to hospital. According to Emergency Medical Services (EMS), more than one person was transported to receive medical attention following the crash.

Initially, STARS Air Ambulance was dispatched to the scene, but its services were ultimately not required, and patients were instead transported to hospital in ambulances. Fortunately, EMS reported that the injured individuals were in serious but stable condition.
