We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity to join our team as a Platform Engineer at our Toronto office! As a Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in driving our platform forward, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, and delivering top-notch support to our applications.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Platform Engineer to join our team. As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our platform, ensuring its stability, scalability, and performance. Your expertise in Unix/Linux, Windows, and cloud technologies will be instrumental in driving our platform's growth and success.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

 5+ years of advanced knowledge, experience, and understanding of Unix/Linux, Windows
 Hands-on experience in working as an SRE/Platform Support Engineer
 Willingness to work in the Application Support space
 Hands-on experience with version control platforms such as GitHub
 Strong experience in building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
 Experience working with deployment tools like UCD
 Advantageous: hands-on experience deploying applications on cloud platforms like OCP and PCF
 Advantageous: Linux/Unix admin experience
 Advantageous: public and private cloud knowledge, skills, and experiences (Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenShift, Dockers, Kubernetes, ELK)
 Advantageous: knowledge about SQL Server DB, MQ, Kafka, and monitoring tools like Dynatrace

Nice-to-Have:

 Agile experiences
 Financial institution knowledge

Mandatory Requirement:

 Strong Ansible experience is mandatory for this role.
