Gimli RCMP are currently searching for a missing 66-year-old male

Gimli RCMP are currently searching for a missing 66-year-old male named Ralph Osterwald. He was last seen on August 1, 2025, at approximately 7:00 pm leaving a residence in Gimli on a greenish gray mountain bike, indicating that he was going for a bike ride. The police and his family are concerned for his wellbeing.

Mr. Osterwald is described as being approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build. He has grey, thinning hair and a beard. When he was last seen, he was wearing a cowboy hat, a fleece jacket, and blue jeans. The authorities believe he is still in the Gimli area.
