While a trade deal with the Americans is the ideal outcome, we cannot ignore the reality of the 50 per cent tariff on our steel and the looming threat of additional tariffs on our world-class products.

By investing in strategic infrastructure projects that connect our country from coast to coast, we can reduce our reliance on uncertain foreign markets and chart a more independent economic course.
