"As we navigate the complex and challenging trade landscape with the United States, it's crucial that we keep our elbows up and advocate for the interests of Saskatchewan and Canada as a whole. While a trade deal with the Americans is the ideal outcome, we cannot ignore the reality of the 50 per cent tariff on our steel and the looming threat of additional tariffs on our world-class products.

It's time for bold action, not retreat. By investing in strategic infrastructure projects that connect our country from coast to coast, we can reduce our reliance on uncertain foreign markets and chart a more independent economic course. Let's stand strong and assert our national interests – our future prosperity depends on it."
