Harris takes a bus tour of Georgia in preparation for his return to the campaign

Vice President Harris is getting ready to hit the campaign route again. She and her running mate, Democratic governor of Minnesota Tim Walz, have booked a two-day bus tour across Georgia that will start on Wednesday and end on Thursday with a rally in Savannah. The tour will comprise of Harris's first political appearances since she accepted her party's candidacy at the Democratic National Convention last week. Harris and Walz will be interviewed by CNN on Thursday, with the broadcast scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. that day. On Tuesday, neither Trump nor Harris are present on the campaign route. One day after Trump's visit to the battleground state, Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio), the running mate, went on the campaign trail in Michigan.
