VPD Arrests Suspect in Kitsilano Stabbing Incident


The Vancouver Police Department has apprehended a 28-year-old suspect in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred early this morning in Kitsilano. The incident took place on a bus near the Burrard Bridge, prompting a swift response from VPD officers.

Upon arrival, police found a 22-year-old male victim with life-threatening injuries. The victim was rushed to the hospital, where he is currently receiving medical attention. A thorough investigation led officers to a suspect, who was subsequently arrested near the intersection of Burrard Street and Cornwall Avenue.

Parsa Ganjizadehzavareh, the accused, has been charged with multiple offences, including aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. Ganjizadehzavareh is currently in custody, awaiting further proceedings.
