During his address to the 2025 Batch 'A' Stream Two Corps Members at the NYSC Orientation Camp in Ede, Oyo State, as well as in Iseyin and Sagamu, the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, encouraged participants to dedicate themselves to national development throughout their year of service.

General Nafiu highlighted the serious consequences of neglecting service or abandoning it, urging Corps Members to ensure they complete their National Service and obtain their certificates before considering any foreign travels. Additionally, he advised Corps Members to remain vigilant about their safety and to avoid any activities that may put them at risk. He reminded them to adhere to the NYSC dress code, emphasizing that inappropriate attire is not acceptable within the Scheme. "Dress responsibly, build positive friendships during your service year, and utilize your time wisely," the DG emphasized. In his report to the Director General, Mr. Agbor Ndoma Obim, the NYSC Osun State Coordinator, praised the teamwork among camp participants that has contributed to the success of the current session.
