British heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua made a trip to Ghana for the 'Battle of the Beasts' event on June 13, 2025. The former world titleholder was spotted cycling and smiling as he was welcomed by enthusiastic fans waving Ghanaian flags. Joshua teamed up with boxing great Amir Khan at the occasion.

The event showcased several thrilling matches, including a showdown between Ghana's Jacob "The Beast" Dickson and America's Andrew Tabiti for the WBO Africa Bridgerweight title. Additionally, Daniel Selassie Gorsh defended his WBO Africa Bantamweight title against Thei Allotey, known as "Lopez," while Haruna Mohammed fought to defend his national Cruiserweight title against Abdulai Ahmed.
