Carney expressed deep concern and sorrow upon discovering that a U.S. lawmaker

Prime Minister Carney expressed that it is both upsetting and tragic to hear about the death of a U.S. lawmaker and her spouse in a politically-motivated attack. My thoughts are with their family, those who were injured, Governor Walz, and all Minnesotans as they mourn this awful act. Political violence and the extremism that drives it pose serious risks to our safety and democracy. We must stand firm in opposition to these threats.
