Their role is to support the government's efforts to strengthen the Canadian economy, enhance trade and security relations with the United States, while assisting Canadians to thrive in the areas of industry, health, environment, foreign affairs, and justice. Among the names mentioned are parliamentarians who will hold positions such as parliamentary secretaries for the Ministers of Industry, Crown-Indigenous Relations, Foreign Affairs, Health, Immigration, Northern and Arctic Affairs, Emergency Management and Community Resilience, International Trade, Justice, Indigenous Services, Digital Transformation, and Artificial Intelligence, among others.

The appointment of these parliamentary secretaries aims to bolster the government's efforts to implement the policies and initiatives promised to Canadians. In addition to the appointments, the Prime Minister announced that Elisabeth Brière would serve as the Deputy Whip of the government and that Arielle Kayabaga would take on the role of Deputy Leader of the government in the House of Commons.
