A man named Mr. Park was arrested by the FBI in connection with a bombing at a fertility clinic in California. He is accused of being in possession of an explosive recipe similar to the one used in the infamous Oklahoma City bombing. The FBI's Los Angeles field office is leading the investigation.

Mr. Park and his accomplice, identified only as a co-conspirator, were reportedly involved in a radical belief system called anti-natalism, which advocates for human and other life forms to become extinct to prevent suffering. This philosophy has various names, such as pro-mortalism or efilism, and encompasses a range of ideas that generally promote the non-existence of life as a moral good.

The explosion at the ARC Fertility clinic in Rancho Mirage caused significant damage, affecting several surrounding buildings. ARC is a notable fertility center in the Coachella Valley, offering comprehensive reproductive services like fertility evaluations, in vitro fertilization (IVF), egg donation and freezing, as well as support for same-sex couples and surrogacy arrangements.

The magnitude of the destruction has led the investigating agent, Mr. Davis, to describe it as "the largest bombing scene" that the FBI has encountered in southern California in recent times. The motive for the attack seems to be rooted in the perpetrator's extreme beliefs, targeting a symbol of life creation and family planning services.
