The Calgary Police Service has concluded that the death of a man, who was found in medical distress on the 1100 block of Third St. S.E. and later succumbed to his injuries, is not suspicious. Initially reported as a potential fall from a high-rise balcony on Sunday, June 1, 2025, the case was thoroughly investigated by the Homicide Unit.

Following a review of the evidence, including CCTV footage and witness statements, and an autopsy performed by The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, the death has been deemed non-criminal. No further details will be released, as the incident is no longer being treated as a criminal matter. The case has been closed with the case number CA25229847.
