The Ottawa Police Service is seeking the public's assistance in identifying five suspects involved in an assault incident that took place in the downtown area in April. The assault occurred between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on April 12, near Metcalfe Street and Laurier Avenue West. Initially, a group of three to five individuals were reportedly verbally harassing someone, which escalated when a bystander attempted to intervene.
