Reports on the empowerment of 531 National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) with business starter packs and financial grants.

The initiative is aimed at supporting entrepreneurship among young Nigerians and is a collaborative effort between the NNPC and the NYSC. Each of the 531 recipients received a starter pack containing various equipment for different trades, such as furniture-making kits, laptops, fashion design tools, and beauty care kits. Additionally, they were each given a grant of N531,000 to cover workshop rentals and business setup costs. The Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Ltd., Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, who was represented by NNPCL Group Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Roland Ewubare, expressed satisfaction with the partnership and emphasized the importance of the initiative in promoting entrepreneurial spirits among the youth. This gesture underscores the NNPC's commitment to fostering economic growth and self-reliance among the nation's youth population.
