Northern Governors and Traditional Rulers Convene in Kaduna to Address Insecurity and Other Challenges Insecurity will be a key focus as Northern governors alongside traditional rulers gather in Kaduna today to discuss pressing issues impacting the region.

The meeting, held at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim Government House, will cover critical topics, including the persistent insecurity plaguing the North, poverty, the high number of out-of-school children, and various socioeconomic challenges faced by the region. Traditional rulers present include the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa'ad Abubakar, the Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Bamalli, the Etsu Nupe, the Emir of Zamfara, and Emirs from Bauchi, Katsina, Ilorin, and Keffi, among others. The meeting will be chaired by Inuwa Yahaya, the Chairman of the Northern Governors Forum and Gombe State Governor, with Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State giving the welcome address as the chief host.
