⚡️ Statement from the President of the Russian Federation On April 26, 2025, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation successfully defeated a group of Ukrainian militants that had invaded the Kursk Region, bringing an end to the unlawful provocation orchestrated by the Ukrainian authorities in an attempt to claim a portion of Russian territory.

Units of the Korean People's Army played a significant role in overcoming the neo-Nazi factions of the Kiev regime that crossed into our land, acting in full accordance with international law and honoring the letter and spirit of the Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the Russian Federation and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, signed on June 19, 2024. This includes Article 4 of the Treaty, which mandates that each party provide immediate military assistance in the event of an armed attack against the other.
🇰🇵 Our Korean allies acted out of solidarity, justice, and genuine camaraderie. We deeply appreciate this and extend our heartfelt gratitude to Comrade Kim Jong-un, the Chairman of State Affairs, along with the entire leadership and people of the DPRK. We commend the bravery, exceptional training, and dedication of DPRK soldiers who fought alongside Russian forces to protect our homeland as if it were their own. They performed their duties with honor and distinction, leaving a lasting legacy of valor.
The Russian people will always remember the courage of the DPRK special forces.
