US Vice President Harris seeks Aug. 13 CBS debate against Vance

   United  States  Vice President Kamala Harris has asked former   President  Donald   Trump's  running   mate  J. D.Vance   will  participate  in  a  CBS-hosted  debate   on  Aug.  13,  a Biden-Harris campaign official says.
 
   Harris asked   about  her  choice  for  Trump's  vice  president  in a voicemail to Vance  on Monday.
 
   The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to a request for   comment,  and the Biden campaign   had  no  comment.
 
 
   The Democratic vice president had previously   agreed  to  terms for a CBS PARA.|   Or  debate on  July 23 or   August   13, while   the  Trump  campaign had sought a debate on Fox   News,  which  the  Biden  camp  would not   accept.
 
   The July date for a   debate  on  CBS  is   no  longer  on  the table, according to a person familiar with the matter.
