Law enforcement officials apprehended a significant quantity of cash and narcotics in Williamston. The Narcotics Investigation Unit carried out a search warrant on Branchview Drive, a location that has been under scrutiny in an ongoing drug investigation.

Detectives confiscated over 37 pounds of marijuana, more than 3 grams of ecstasy, a firearm, and in excess of $54,490 in cash. Additionally, they discovered a considerable sum of money associated with drug activities in a bank account, totaling over $14,700. Malik Bennett, aged 35, and Brittany Williams, aged 32, face charges of Trafficking Marijuana, Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime, and Distribution of Methamphetamine.
