One man has been charged with sexual assault following two incidents

One man has been charged with sexual assault following two incidents involving an employee and a prospective employee earlier this year.

 
📍 In January 2025, the first victim was attending a job interview at Fire N Ice, located at 854 16 Ave. S.W. During the interview, it is alleged that the manager inappropriately touched the victim without her consent and temporarily prevented her from leaving the premises. The victim managed to leave and subsequently reported the incident to the police. In April 2025, a second victim encountered her manager while out with friends at a downtown bar. It is alleged that, while there, the manager abused his position of authority and inappropriately touched her without consent. Later that evening, the group of friends joined the manager at a residence downtown, where he continued to inappropriately touch and sexually assault the victim. She reported the incident to the police the following day. 
📌 Following an investigation by officers in District 1 and the Sexual Assault Investigative Unit, Ankit DRALL, 31, of Calgary, has been charged with: 🔹 2 counts of sexual assault 🔹 1 count of unlawful confinement
