Goodluck Jonathan: I attended a performance of 'Igenfina' at Aduvie Int.l School

This evening, I attended a performance of 'Igenfina' at Aduvie International School in Abuja, alongside parents, friends, and supporters. The play presented a compelling narrative of a traditional African society that marginalized the girl child, denying her essential social development and access to quality education.



It was inspiring to witness the character of Igenfina, who, despite numerous challenges, mobilized the community to challenge and ultimately overcome the forces of discrimination and oppression in her realm. The staging was captivating, filled with drama, suspense, and intrigue, as the talented young cast effectively advocated for girl-child education and gender equality.
