A 34-year-old man was arrested and charged with a number of offences after the BPS Core Engagement and Response Team (CERT) found him in possession of a loaded restricted firearm and a large quantity of controlled substances.

The suspect was apprehended during a targeted enforcement operation in a high-crime area, following a series of community complaints about drug-related activity. A subsequent search of the individual's residence yielded additional evidence, including drug paraphernalia and cash proceeds from illegal transactions. The accused is facing multiple charges, including possession of a restricted firearm, drug trafficking, and possession of proceeds of crime. The investigation is ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
