Regarding the recent tension between NNPCL and the Dangote Group, he assured that discussions are ongoing to resolve the issues and foster collaboration. He acknowledged Aliko Dangote's contributions to the sector, particularly the Dangote Refinery project, and highlighted the need for a united front to ensure a stable fuel supply for the country.

Ojulari also touched on the impact of the global decline in crude oil prices on Nigeria's budget, which heavily depends on oil revenue. He assured that the company is working diligently to reduce operational costs and optimize earnings. However, he explained that the adjustment of local fuel prices to reflect the global drop would depend on when dealers purchase the product at the lower rate, suggesting that pump prices may take some time to change.

Overall, Ojulari's message emphasizes the need for unity, support, and understanding from all stakeholders, including the public and other oil companies, to navigate the challenges ahead and work towards a prosperous future for the oil and gas sector in Nigeria. Reporting by Sikiru Obarayese
