Saudi Arabia Officially Welcomes First Hajj 2025 Pilgrims: The sacred pilgrimage has commenced! Saudi Arabia has officially greeted the first group of Hajj 2025 pilgrims at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Airport in Madinah. Among the initial arrivals were 396 pilgrims from Dhaka, Bangladesh, who received a warm welcome from Saudi officials. Another contingent of 414 pilgrims also touched down in Jeddah, marking the beginning of what is expected to be a well-organized and spiritually enriching Hajj season. Saudi Arabia's Minister of Transport announced that six major airports—Jeddah, Madinah, Yanbu, Taif, Riyadh, and Dammam—are now operational to accommodate pilgrims from around the globe.

With effective systems in place, flights are set to keep arriving until the start of Dhul Hijjah. Countries such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and India have initiated their pilgrimages through streamlined services, including the Makkah Route Initiative, which ensures smooth entry, health assessments, and even direct luggage delivery to hotels. At AHUON, we join the global Muslim community in praying for the safety and ease of all pilgrims embarking on this noble journey. As Hajj operations gain momentum, we encourage our members and Nigerian pilgrims to stay informed, comply with Saudi regulations, and prepare both spiritually and logistically for their turn. May Allah accept the Hajj of all pilgrims this year and facilitate the journey for those preparing to depart. Stay tuned to AHUON News for more updates as we track and share developments leading up to Hajj 2025.
