🔵 CHARGES FILED: 🔵 We have completed a three-month investigation into drug trafficking, which led to the confiscation of a significant quantity of fentanyl and five firearms. 📍 In January 2025, our District 4 General Investigations Unit initiated an inquiry after receiving a tip from the York Regional Police Service concerning a drug trafficker based in Calgary. Over the next three months, officers successfully identified the suspect and observed behaviors indicative of illicit drug activities. 📍 On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, with assistance from our Tactical Unit, investigators executed a traffic stop in the Crescent Heights area. One individual was arrested without incident, and a search of the vehicle yielded 22 grams of fentanyl, 18 grams of crack cocaine, and two cell phones. drugs merged.jpgFB_IMG_1745864686548.jpg
❌ A search of an apartment in the 100 block of Second Avenue S.W., Calgary, resulted in the recovery of a taser. Another search at an apartment located in the 100 block of First Avenue E., Cochrane, led to the discovery of:
 ❌ 1.5 kilograms of fentanyl 
❌ 11 grams of unidentified pills
 ❌ 161 grams of an unknown white powder 
❌ A loaded handgun fitted with a 3D-printed receiver and a Glock slide, reported lost in Ontario ❌ A T81SA 7.62mm semi-automatic rifle
 ❌ A brown SKS rifle 
❌ A black SKS rifle 
❌ A black Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun 
❌ Approximately 1,170 rounds of ammunition
 ❌ Two prohibited firearm magazines 📌 Jacob SEAL, 29, from Cochrane, is facing two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of possession of a prohibited device, one count of possession of a loaded prohibited firearm with ammunition, and one count of unauthorized possession of a firearm. 🗨� "The removal of these drugs and firearms has undoubtedly safeguarded our community from significant harm.
