Cameron Michaud, a 24-year-old football player at Saginaw Valley State University and a Canadian citizen, is facing criminal charges related to organized retail crime and second-degree retail fraud in Mid-Michigan.

He was arrested on Wednesday at the Ryder Center on campus after an investigation revealed his involvement in several retail thefts, including the theft of Detroit Lions jerseys that were later offered for sale on Facebook Marketplace.

The university has verified that Michaud hails from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
