Seventeen-year-old Nikita Casap was arrested last month and faces two charges of first-degree murder along with two counts of concealing a corpse, according to ABC News. He is alleged to have shot his stepfather, Donald Meyer, 51, and his mother, Tatiana Casap, 35, in February before fleeing the state. The Department of Justice filing indicated that the murders of his mother and stepfather "seemed to be an attempt to acquire the financial means and autonomy necessary" for the planned assassination of Trump.
