This recognition is dedicated to all Nigerians who hold faith in the potential for peace, as well as to every African striving tirelessly for the development and betterment of our continent.

I extend my congratulations to the other recipients and express my gratitude to Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, co-founder of the Universal Peace Federation, the Sunhak Peace Prize Foundation, and my wife, Dame Patience Jonathan, for her unwavering love and support.
