Jim Wells/Postmedia file Article Content: Calgary police have initiated an investigation into a suspicious death following the fatal injuries of a man, who succumbed on Friday after an incident the previous day. Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of 7th Avenue at approximately 8 a.m. on Thursday in response to reports of an individual in distress, as stated in a news release from police issued on Friday evening. The man was transported to the hospital in critical condition but unfortunately passed away from his injuries on Friday, according to the police report. "After reviewing CCTV footage from the building, one individual has been taken into custody regarding the circumstances of this death," the Calgary Police Service noted. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
